DESCRIPTION
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installations of components, assemblies and sub-assemblies on the production line(s) and mechanical tasks as they apply to production or repairs of product, diagnose hydraulic components and diesel engines.
SKILLS & TASK
- Assists in the installation of components on the production line
- Performs assembly tasks as per standard works
- Lifts/moves parts and assemblies to and on to the production line
- Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret basic drawings/specifications and work instructions
- Operates and effectively uses hand and power tools and all applicable measurement equipment
- Possesses a basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and possesses manual dexterity
